Activation Key
Your PowerTools activation key is sent in your purchase confirmation email and can also be found on the customer dashboard (opens in a new tab). Do not lose it or share it with anyone. Your PowerTools activation key can be activated on 3 devices, but it can only be used on one device at a time. Do not share your activation key with anyone as it will be deactivated.
PowerTools Updates
As a PowerTools customer, you are entitled to free updates when they are released. Use the following instructions to check for add-in updates:
- Click on Settings & Help (on PowerPoint, on the PowerTools ribbon at the right).
- Select About from the dropdown menu.
- Select License & Updates.
- Click Check for Updates.
When releasing major updates, the PowerTools team will notify you via email if you have not previously opted out of update emails.
Subscription Cancellation
PowerTools offers both an Annual subscription and a Lifetime license. If you have an Annual subscription, it will be automatically renewed if you do not cancel it. Use the following cancellation instructions if you wish to cancel your Annual subscription, thereby deactivating your PowerTools add-in:
- Sign into the customer dashboard (opens in a new tab) with the email you used to purchase the PowerTools add-in (no password required).
- Click on the three dots next to your subscription.
- Click on Pause.
- Click on Pause Subscription.
If you wish to change the email address to which your license is assigned, you can contact support, and PowerTools will deactivate your current license and send you a new license associated with your new email.
