Generate and insert QR codes directly into your PowerPoint slides with a single click. When scanned, these QR codes can direct users to websites or display text of your choice.
What It Does
The QR Code Generator creates a scannable QR code based on your input and automatically centers it on your selected slide. You can generate QR codes for:
- Website URLs
- Plain text
- Contact information
- Any other text-based content
When to Use It
Use the QR Code Generator when you want to:
- Link to additional resources in your presentation
- Share website URLs without typing long addresses

How to Use It
- Open your PowerPoint presentation
- Select the slide where you want to insert the QR code
- Click the QR Code Generator button in your add-in toolbar
- Enter the URL or text you want to encode in the QR code
- Click OK to generate and insert the QR code
- The QR code will automatically appear centered on your slide
- You can resize or move the QR code as needed
Tips
- Test your QR code with a mobile device before presenting
- Keep your URLs short for cleaner, more reliable QR codes
- Ensure the QR code is large enough to be scanned from a distance
- Maintain good contrast between the QR code and slide background
- Consider adding a call-to-action above or below the QR code
